No way.  Koehler's stuff is some of the best on the team.  He just needs to figure out whatever psychological blockage is keeping him from doing well in the fourth and sixth innings.  No, it's not that hitters adjust to his stuff the second and third time around.  His stuff is noticeably different.

lol no its not.  the blockage in the 4th and 6th innings is that his stuff isn't that great.  He is a good reliever on most teams.  passable as a starter obviously but he is ideally a bullpen arm

Earned you $5. Should I pay now or just wait to give you a bigger chunk

Wait up a bit to see if anyone questions you and ur immediate family for being fuckin deadbeats and then pay up.

Brand Hand is 6'3 left handed lumberjack, unfortunately he's going to go the way of Andrew Miller and finally put things together at 31....For someone else...Like always...

Andrew Miller always had dynamite stuff, he just couldn't throw strikes consistently.  The fact that he has become as good as he has been doesnt surprise me at all.  Brad Hand is not at all Andrew Miller.

TKs 2.9% swgstrk rate on fastball suggests his "stuff" is pretty bad actually. I do think he's better than Urena right now, but Urena's ceiling is certainly higher.

When you reply to someone's comment, you should actually address at least one thing he or she said.

you want me to reply to your intangible "psychological block?"

Oh stanton swing me to sleep.

I want to blame the hitting coach but i think our lineup is just bad.  career high 11 k's for Hammell are you fucking kidding me?

The ab's this team has are day in and day out awful.

That rule about the ball being fair if it lands foul but went over the base is ridiculous. It should be fair only if it lands in fair territory. It's virtually impossible for it to go down the line hop over the bag fair and then suddenly land foul. Who made that rule?

I want you to refute my point if you're trying to argue with me.  His stuff is clearly different specifically in the fourth and sixth innings.

but the 5th inning he magically regains himself and then goes back to his poor 4th inning form in the 6th inning again?  No,  he's just not very good and he is best suited for the bullpen.

He sucks in the 4th and 6th because hitters catch on after seeing what he's doing. It's really that easy.

I don't think you understand what the word "psychological" means, so I'm going to go ahead and leave this dead-end of a conversation.

(Holy shit)

lol ok buddy. I know what psychological means.  Your point is fucking stupid.

Tom Koehler 6th innings this year: 7.1 IP, 1 ER, .160 BAA, .427 OPS against.

Going to watch the cubs broadcast in the bottom of the 7th. Worked in some marlins games last for good luck

Well no, actually if the hitter was making contact with the ball behind the foul line, then it would be impossible. But we all know that's not the case as the hitter makes contact way in front of the foul line.

the reason his 4th and 6th innings are bad because generally the 4th inning and 6th innings are when the top of the lineup sees you for the 2nd and 3rd time usually.

Why is Mazzaro working the 7th inning of a close game?  I guess he's been ok so far but we should be using our "better" options right now.  No?
