7/4 - Marlins at Cubs - 7:15 PM

Featured Replies

Happy 4th everybody. Let's keep july....perfect.

Not sure what Cosart did to earn this start but whatever. Marlins are going to need to score 5+ to win this one

5+ runs might not be enough....i'm thinking the bar might have to be set at 7 or 8 to have a chance here

Morse will be playing 1B for the hammerheads today.

Would like to se Ozo do something productive out there today for a change.

Marlins win today.

Well here's hoping Cosart comes out strong today. Would like to see him get back to how he was late last year.

Baker at 1b instead of Bour????

left-handed pitcher on the mound for the Cubs.

Which is really a dumb reason. Go with the hot hitter, see if he can hit a lefty.

Just realized we are going to boston after this. If we want to make up any substantial ground, starting off with a cool 6 runs today and a victory will help. Need to be scorching hot into the all star break.

And then hope that the Nationals, Mets, and Braves all come down with a four month flu. :D

true. At this stage you win, everything will take care of itself. Regardless of record.

Exactly!

Just go on a few 3, 4 game win streaks and after the three teams above us are all having diarrhea on the field trying to play through the illnesseseseseses, we end up taking the division with a 78-84 record.

yeah lets go with that...

It's...not unheard of...

Didn't just three or four years ago a few teams go from being 7-8 games back to getting to the playoffs in the last two or so months? We just need to be historically hot and everyone else be historically cold.  All without the best power hitter in the National League.  Easy as pie.

All you have to do is Bo-lieve!

thats the wrong thing to do. The guy that always says that gets his ass kicked.

Do we have anybody that can pay off the other teams catering staffs?
