July 10, 201511 yr Author Glenn Geffner @GlennGeffner 1h1 hour ago For Jose Fernandez, the 9th time in 38 career starts he's worked at least 7 scoreless innings. #Marlins #KidK
July 10, 201511 yr How was there not a thread yet?!?!? We are too captivated by the news that Hits McGehee is back. I can't wait to hear Rich Waltz say it over and over.

July 10, 201511 yr The Marlins were actually worth watching today. I dream of the day we get to watch Giancarlo and Jose play on the same day.

July 10, 201511 yr Jose Fernandez sets MLB record for consecutive home starts w/o loss to start career (22) (via @eliassports) 2015년 7월 10일AWESOME
July 10, 201511 yr It seems like the Marlins can't catch a break when it comes to injuries, more so than any other team (Jose, Stanton, Prado, Yelich, Morse, Latos, Cosart and Alvarez) all missing significant time.
July 10, 201511 yr undefeated at home? if Loria doesn't make sure he starts every home game I'm done with this team
July 10, 201511 yr That probably means they see Baker as the odd man out when McGehee comes in. That's the only way I can see Baker being shopped.

July 10, 201511 yr are the concession stands out of napkins? wtf are they expecting for Baker? Nah, they just steal those from the local McDonalds.
July 10, 201511 yr A smart team will realize bakers value and we might be able to get a mid tier guy for him. He can help a contender as a guy who mashes lefties and is versatile defensively
July 10, 201511 yr I feel like Latos can actually get a very nice return if he has a couple more good starts before the deadline. Same with Haren. Id prefer us try and resign Latos though if we can get him for 5 years and say 60 million after 2 injured/ineffective years id take that and run. I have no idea what his market would be though. To me he is the kind of guy you definitely re sign. Haren and Dunn combined could probably give you a nice prospect in return.

July 10, 201511 yr I would also look to sign Latos, maybe two years with an option. Free agent around 30 and can get some money, be in his hometown, and reestablish his value.

July 10, 201511 yr Just saw FA SP for this off-season woof It's basically: Cueto, Price, Gallardo, Lee(that's pushing it), Greinke (if he opts-out)
