Hey how did this get many dislikes when the solano one does. Anywho, i got that line from the office, guess no one is a fan.

will this increase or decrease his trade value

Lol, just joking. But id assume increase :-p

Also, lets keep Ramos as the closer so Vince can love the pen even more.

why so many dislikes?

In fairness, he had a very inconsistent year but two years before that he was very good. Give him some credit.

Or just give him some games to LOSE.

Vince,I like.

Lol I made this thread up in November. Thought it would be appropriate to bring it back up.

Why not Dunn just to the DL like Morris, our bullpen was much better after Morris to the DL,so I believe Dunn to the DL would be best to this team.

Randy Choate was signed the other day. Why didn't we consider him as a low cost option to get lefties out?

We never considered anybody not named Dunn.

"I can't remember the last time I went out there and I couldn't throw anything over the plate," Dunn said. "I didn't give the team a chance. Walking guys, you can't do that. I put that one on my shoulders. It's all me."                                                        "At this point, hopefully we're getting past [Dunn missing most of the season]. We've just got to execute better. Mike will continue to work. He's been really good in the past, and he's going to be good again. It's not like he's a guy we're not going to be able to count on. I think by the end of the year, and as we get into this thing, we're going to be able to count on him." -- Mattingly on Dunn's struggles.

Mike "Isn't" Dunn. -Don Mattingly

What can he say ? manager can't get rid of player, only general manager could.

Baseball is a team sport, very rarely is a loss the sole fault of one player... Yes that first inning blew and yes we only got two hits, even worse especially off Hendricks who apparently sucks on the road.... But it's really hard for me not to focus on the guy who did nothing right... A hit, two walks, a hit by pitch and a run given up in five batters faced? It's the "you had one job" meme. If Dunn wasn't in, sure we could have still lost but Dunn himself greatly fucked up our chances. Yes we only had two hits but there's a bunch of hitters who could have connected on a solo home run at any given point and given us the lead. You can't just say "ah we only got two hits so it's ok that Dunn couldn't throw strikes" ...the reliever needs to throw strikes and get outs, Mike Dunn absolutely has sucked at that this year and for the significant role he currently holds in the bullpen he can't afford to be that bad. Ok... That's my rant. Get em today!
