January 29, 201610 yr This is one of the worst most lop sided trades I've seen in a long time. The Rockies are even more clueless than the marlins FO!

January 30, 201610 yr Author Injury prone, platoon player who cannot hit away from Coors. not that big of an LOL. the coors effect seems to be extremely overstated the #s show hitters are negatively effects in away games: http://espn.go.com/mlb/insider/story/_/id/13227274/does-coors-field-make-rockies-hitters-worse-road-mlb
January 30, 201610 yr not the ball used in the Coors field different from the ball that used in the other 29 ballpark?
February 1, 201610 yr I've said it before but the Rockies (and Milwaukee) are a team that I would never trade my Marlins frustration and pain away for. I can not imagine being their fanbase. With that said, I don't know how McGee helps Colorado in the long term. They had to trade an outfielder but I don't think they got back what they needed. Seems like they just settled on return that could help in the immediate short term just to clear the logjam.
February 1, 201610 yr McGee will probably have good value at the trade deadline. I'm guessing that's why they did it.
