Jose Fernandez vs Anibal Sanchez

Fernandez brings a perfect 17-0 record, coupled with a 1.40 ERA, in 26 career starts at Marlins Park. The winning streak is the longest in MLB history for a pitcher to start off a career at home.

Sanchez brings a perfect 0-0 record, coupled with a 0.00 ERA, thus far in all his 2016 regular season starts combined. The winless streak is tied with all other starters who have yet to pitch a game in 2016.

Let's win it!

Jose Day!

Having missed last nights game, this is Opening Day for me!

Excited for Jose today.

Jose Urena was optioned to the minors, sorry to break the news to you but he won't be there today.

Weirdest start time ever tho. 4:55 pm? Who came up with that?

GO MARLINS!!!!

Probably Preston.

This is a Preston game for those wondering

Sucks I can't even listen to my own team's home broadcast because they have the worst announcers perhaps ever. The tigers guys are pretty decent at least

I feel like we need a "Threat Level" type meter here. DEFCON 1 is a Preston game, DEFCON 2 for Perez, DEFCON 3 for Leiter since it seems the majority are looking forward to Al the most.

@squall how was the atmosphere yesterday shitty bullpen aside?

Was alright. 1-10 like a 7.

Maybe: 6.5

He asked how the atmosphere was, not your penis size

marlins bottom 9 rally....

tommy: LIGHT IT UP THIS GAME IS TIED. DEE WITH THE BIG DEEEEEEEEEEEE. THERE IS NO, I MEAN NO GIVE UP ON THIS TEAM.

preston: ichiro's at bat. man....does anybody have a rag?

Why would he ask my penis size if he already knows what it feels like in his mouth?

Always taking it up a notch, its why I love you

Elweyy taykig it uhh a nott, iss why I luhh ya

Preston Wilson's Keys to the Game

1) Jose needs to show he can get on top of that mound of dirt consistently

2) Jose needs to be able to throw the ball into that thing the catcher has on his hand

3) The Marlins offense has to make sure those wooden things make contact with the ball
