4/13 Marlins @ Mets

Featured Replies

Marlins take the brooms to Citi Field where we have the opportunity to repay them for the April 4 game sweep last year. Guys, do I need to repeat myself every time I start a game thread?? Let's get to over .500 for the first time this year as *checks phone*....

IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!!!!!!!

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck the muts. Conley going 8 strong w 10ks tomorrow.  How bout muts manager using Reed and Familia 2 days in a row like that? Almost as stupid ad the average muts fan

Marlins take this 6-3.

Friday August 22, 2014 the last time the Marlins were this: what's the answer?

I don't understand why the Mutts are playing one man down with deGrom not with the team. He could be on the paternity list

If he goes on the paternity list, they can't backdate a DL stint if he needs it.

Today's Lineup, in the form of questions:

1. Deeg or Don?

2. Each Ear. Oh! Suzuki?

3. (did) Christie Ann, Yell Itch?

4. Jean Carlo Stands On...?

5. (s)Mart Teen, Prod? Oh?

6. (this) Just In! Bore?

7. Jay? Tee? Real? Mute. Oh?

8. Mig Elro Has...?

9. A Damn Con! Leigh?

Do you guys give up on my trivia question ?

Admin - The Mets broadcasters (was listening on XM) said they were planning on starting Verrett this afternoon but after using 6 pitchers Monday and the prospect of extra innings last night they had decided that they were going to use him as the emergency guy both days. If he did go in last night they would have put DeGrom on the DL last night and called up someone to start today.

Not part of the C.O.L?

VanHorne and Geff mentioned forearm tightness which would allow the backdate if placed on DL

Right, but he can't be backdated if he goes on the paternity list, which I'm guessing is why they haven't placed him on it. If they keep him "Active" then they can backdate his DL stint to the last game he appeared in.

Makes a lot of sense

8/22/14 was the last time the Marlins were over .500. Nobody figured that out??!!

So them calling up Montero in emergency, but not adding him to the 25 doesn't use an option correct?

I'm not sure about that. I suppose if he isn't officially on the 25, then it's not an official transaction, right?

So is Verrett starting or not?

As of now he is. That bullpen is shot though surprised they didn't make the Montero move official.

Arent we glad we have Mike Hill in charge.
