We have nothing like him in the minors, not even close

Lol. Okay. I just listen to cover watch every game and report on them.

But yeah. Go with your assumptions

didn't know we had such a glut of lefty arms that throw 95mph with + change ups and sliders. Guess every other single baseball publication that evaluates prospects missed that as well.

Yes they did, obviously, you fuckwit dickhole Prestonwog.

Stuff wise he is one of the best we have. But in the way of being a 3-5 starter quality, we have plenty more.

Nicolino, Urena, Mader, Cavanerio, Higgins to name a few.

Nicolino is very similar in terms of production

Nicolino doesn't have that velo. It's more like 92. But he has the plus breakers. If he bulks up a little, he can get a few more MPH.

And as I said, I was referring not to stuff but to team value.

That was kind of my point. We have nothing even remotely close to Conley in the milb. All those guys above are #5 at best. Nico maybe has an shot to be a #4 and Urena should be in the pen. Those other guys are projects at best.

Damn right, now you know your place. You've been served you ignorant slut.

Cavanerio and Mader have the stuff and makeup to make it as roty arms. Higgins could wind up in the pen but I would like to see him play out as a starter

If you want to go even further into it, Jeff Brigham is a while away but he already is throwing 97. Only has three pitches but can throw the FB anywhere he wants. If he pans out he will be damn solid

one thing about conley he seems to lose his velo on the fb as the game goes on

In the minors he rarely topped 93. I think he's just ramping up early in games

But we don't have a Conley caliber pitcher in the minors outside of Nicolino. We let go Trevor Williams and Domingo German last offseason. The only other minor league pitcher I can think of noteworthy off the top of my head is Jake Esch and he's not even a good minor league pitcher. Poor drafting and purging the system in trades has left us desolate in all areas.

My understanding is he was drafted at 93+ and stayed there his first year until he got injured. He has a nice velocity spike (mlb last) that corresponded with his success which was a return to finally being healthy.
