Yes, he gives up hits but he pitches to contact.  You have to cut him some slack because he is a rookie.  Give him time to figure it out at the MLB level.  He's succeeded in the minors with this stuff so at least lets see if he can have it translate.  Not saying he is going to be an ACE or that he will ever be any good.  Just that he should be given the opportunity to fail or succeed.
