Now that Paddack has been traded, and Kolek is rehabbing from T J , who do you all think is our best pitching prospect.  I like Kevin Guzman, Luis Castillo, and Dillon Peters.  They are all having sort of break through seasons although Guzman has been on the DL for a little bit.  I'm hoping that some others like Lilek start to put up better #'s soon.

Also, I'm not including the just drafted Braxton Garrett.  He hasn't even signed or much less thrown a pitch.  I'm just curious about the guys that have already been pitching for us.  Jarlin Garcia is a nice prospect too but he's more of back of the rotation type.

Thoughts.......

Of course, they will trade him as soon as we come to a consensus.  LOL  Maybe we shouldn't do this.

Whoever it is, the Marlins should trade him immediately for a 39 year old relief pitcher with a volatile track record.

Yeah cause they are able to decide what other teams will give them for a prospect.

It's not like they don't have a say in the matter.

See the Rodney thread for a new revelation.

It's probably Austin Brice. He won't be an ace, but could end up as a solid back of the rotation guy. Same with Poteet. I don't see Jarlin Garcia as much more than a swingman or a 5th starter in a bad season. Sad that these are our top guys.

As soon as Garrett signs, it's him. We have nothing to speak of in the minors right now. Even Kolek's stock had taken a hit after a very underwhelming 2015.

After losing Paddack, the fish should just shut down their affiliates, no real reason to go on

Bruce has been converted to a reliever.  At least from what I can in the box scores.  Not sure why.  He was having a good season as a starter.

that does look strange...  this had really been a breakout season for him so far.

Brice is a potential call-up to help in the MLB pen in the second half this year, that's why

Doesn't we still owned Justin Twine ?

He is having a subpar season just like most of our other top prospects
