Admin
This pace of play thing is outta control
SilverBullet
This won't get approved. This is a horrible idea. This is the first pace of play idea that literally kills the game itself and isn't just about people doing things at a faster pace. This rule isn't about pace, it's about making things easier. It's arguably cheating. This can even lead to something down the line like start every inning with a runner on to create more runs scored etc etc.

el_gmac
if you think the game is too long just don't go or don't watch, and leave us the game as it was 100+ years ago as it is

taiwanmarlin
What a joke,it's not the little league baseball, how about starting the extra innings with nobody out WITH base loaded WITH three ball and no strike count !?

Piazza31
Supposedly its only for the developmental leagues in A ball- since they are games and teams that wins/losses do not matter but development is the only purpose. They want to end those games quicker and focus on the players not the outcomes. The idea is this will make sure players do not get injured or overworked and mess with travel times.

FishMan1997
I swear to God Progressives are ruining America. This is BS and awful just like the damn slide rule at home plate.
FishMan1997
Manfred's next rule is "the outfielder can hold the ball up in the air and the runners have to stop at the base they are at."Â Â
Piazza31
Manfred's next rule is "the outfielder can hold the ball up in the air and the runners have to stop at the base they are at." Isn't that the the prerequisite for Tagging Up? The outfielder has to hold the ball and catch it and the runners have to stop at the base they are at before they can test their luck? Isn't that what pitchers do when they call time? Isn't this a dumb fucking post...... deez nuts. Got em'.

Admin
 Know for sure it's stupid? Still makes no sense. We already know what the consequences/impact of a rule change like this. A trial period tells us or reassures us nothing.
