Yea Ramos messed up. But the real fuck up was mattingly putting tazawa in the 8th. Tazawa hasn't looked good in any outing so far. That was idiotic. I want to further this by saying that when your starter throws 71 pitches through 6 he needs to come out for the 7th. Just bc we're supposed to have a super bullpen doesn't mean we need to only let pitchers go 5 or 6 every game regardless of score or pitch count. 

 

 

I'd be curious to know if the power delay factored into the decision to lift TK after only 71 pitches. I hated the move, but I would like to know if Don was thinking that way.

Not sure what the case was with Phelps, but I'm guessing Barraclough was unavailable after throwing almost 30 pitches last night.
