Marlins are 8-7 and 1.5 games out of first.

 

During those 15 games, they have played 8 on the road and all came against playoff contenders.  They took 2 of 3 in NY and dropped 2 of 3 in WAS and SEA. At home, they split a series with Atlanta and then took 3 of 4 from NY.

 

They have been in almost every game and have a couple of blowout wins.

 

The best team in baseball (BAL) is 9-4 or two games ahead. The best team in the NL is 9-5 (Washington) or 1.5 games ahead.

 

The Marlins have won Player of the Week in both weeks thus far.

 

Martin Prado has only played in two games so far.

 

Can someone please explain to me why many here think they are doing so horribly and that this will be a "long season" and the season is already over?

 

What did people expect them to do in the first 15 games with 13 coming against playoff contenders. Shouldn't everyone be happy about the current record and situation? I am just struggling to understand this.

the offense has been very very good and exciting (adeiny not in there a big part imo). starting pitching has been better than expected  (below avg instead of terrible), while the bullpen and bullpen management disappointing at best tbh.

Of course it's a NOT BAD record for first 15 games,but everybody knows anything could happen in the first 15 games,just see the record of Reds,DBacks and Rox…so just hope they could contain the good performance.

We have done pretty dang good. We have been in a lot of games. The bullpen management is thing that really needs to be corrected. The 4 game series against the Mets was amazing. 

 

The fact that we are 8-7 with Prado for 2 games and Bour struggling most of the year says something. Ozuna has stepped up big time and Hech is being exposed as a black hole. Rojas can get the same job done with a better bat.

The wonderful user named squall PM'd me one day a couple months back and asked me to delete all his old posts and his account for personal reasons. Even though this required a great deal of work on my part (HOURS AND HOURS), I obliged and did it for him after confirming he really wanted it and wasn't just having a laugh.

 

He then proceeded to go on our Instagram account and put down the site, in an effort to persuade new members from not joining. An odd thing to do after I so graciously handled his request.

 

Since then he has used an alternate name to start a topic in this very forum where he stated I banned him and he @'d a whole bunch of people in it. Quite a lie considering I didn't in fact ban him. He requested his leave.
