She just had one comment that came off hilariously condescending that I refuse to let go of for humor but in no way do I really think she hates him. That comment actually is why she loves her son. It's complicated, but in my opinion it shows she was actually upset because she feels her son is much greater than that because she feels so much about herself.

April 21, 20179 yr Hech was the "headliner" (lol) of the '12 fire sale. He was a bust, and the team has kept him around this long only because they're too proud to admit they failed, or that the trade was nothing more than a salary dump. Or at least so my slightly buzzed self thinks.

I also don't think he is better than Hech defensively. 2nd, I'm not a believer of defensive advanced metrics. I think Hech is one of the top defensive shortstops in the game. Of course, I'm using the eye test. I haven't seen much of the new generation of shortstops like Correa, Lindor, Seager, etc. to compare them against Hech but defensively I'll put him up there with Crawford, and Simmons. 3rd, Hech still has time for improvement. He is still young enough to get better. He does make solid contact and he doesn't K a lot. Rojas might be hitting better right now but most of Rojas hits are infield grounders or soft line drives or bloops. I think the biggest problem with Hech is that somewhere along the line someone told him to hit everything the other way. I think if he concentrated on turning on the ball he would have more success. Last, for a small budget team like the Marlins he is not a bad option. He doesn't cost much and his defense alone is worth the price. That allows us not to worry about SS too much and use the limited funds for more pressing needs like SP. Or it should anyway. Granted, this doesn't mean that I am against an upgrade at SS. If we can upgrade the lineup and not sacrafice the defense I would be all for it. My opinion is that we have more pressing matters than Hech on this team. Therefore, I am fine with Hech starting and hoping that he can still improve.

Hech I got your back, don't let me down. i love hech's uuuf and his fashion shit btw. Rojas is better. this isn't 1985. his type of player is on the way also. Also, he is literally the worst player in baseball for consecutive years (2015,2016) with a solid year (2014) and again the worst player in baseball (2013). When you're the worst player in baseball (not eye test. statistics all around) 3 out of the last 4 years you probably shouldn't be starting.

April 21, 20179 yr And automatically into the starting lineup tomorrow, I'm sure. There have been seasons in Adeiny Hechavarria's career where the Marlins would have been better off as a team with a relief pitcher batting 8th. He's even not hitting as good as a starting pitcher !?
