August 2, 20179 yr Riddle wasn't great but he was an improvement over Adeiny, so yeah, it's a shame we don't get to see a near full season from him. Could it be the only season Stanton doesn't get injured and miss a sizeable chunk of playing time is the same season when the rest of the team is on the shelf ? Marlin luck. It seriously feels like a curse just looms over this team. Part of me was cringing during the trade deadline, waiting to see Loria would dump some guys for "cash consideration" deals so he could pocket some more coin before he sells.
August 3, 20179 yr What are you talking about? Riddle showed some great signs defensively and that he can certainly handle the bat as well if not better than Hechavarria and with a little more power.
