I think the fact that he hides behind this persona of just trying to help out other people is hilarious. As if he's wearing a bright orange jersey and a sideways visor at sporting events just because he wants to help others. December 20, 20178 yr Mike Hill is a bad GM, but it wouldnt surprise me in the least if Loria told Hill for the last few years to screw the future and pull stupid win now moves given that Loria knew from the stadium deal exactly when he would be able to sell the team without incurring a cost from the city of miami.
December 20, 20178 yr Although not everyone had good questions and it wasn't great, I'm glad this town hall meeting was done. Loria never did this. Letting fans get these concerns off their chest face-to-face is a step in the right direction, even if we're not totally sure where the ownership will take it. The only reason some fans are so overly attached and cry over players that we needed to trade is that we haven't won in so long. There's not much else to cling to when that happens.
