SilverBullet
Released by the Rays at the end of spring training, signs a minor league contract with the Marlins, will report to Triple A New Orleans first but is almost guaranteed to be up eventually as this 2018 bullpen is gonna have a lot of moving parts and depth is gonna be needed. Good signing for both sides I think.

Rydawg
Seems like a waste of time. I agree. We have plenty of bullpen arms that are almost ready in the minors.

pollythewog
he'll fit in well with a team that has jacob turner rostered
THRILLHO
If the Rays didn’t want him that’s a pretty big indictment. One of their rotation spots is TBD “The Bullpen Day”. Also they’re really terrible at the moment

Also they’re really terrible at the moment Not saying you're wrong, but that's more an indictment of their rotation, not so much their bullpen (which he would have been a part of), imho. That said, I don't know much about the state of their bullpen either.

THRILLHO
It’s not good. They chose to go that route as an experiment. My thought was that a team carrying extra bullpen arms doesn’t want him then it’s a bad look for him
