DFA ZIEGLER

Best case scenario in Ziegler would be he pitched good in the next two months and we got something good in return for him, worst case scenario would be he keeping pitched suck and we're forced to give up on him for NOTHING.

He sucked last year as well and he is getting older.  There is 0 indication of him being an asset on any team.  If he was released today, he would have to retire because no team would sign a washed up reliever like Ziegler.  Wishful thinking though....

He did say best case scenario so he pretty much was admitting it was wishful thinking. He is right though. Either Ziegler figures it out and we get something for him or he stays terrible and we get nothing and waste the money.

I'm afraid it would be much more difficult to DFA Ziegler than to DFA Tazawa, because Tazawa was pitched terrible as a middle relief but Ziegler had only one blown save as a closer.

Yea but the more he keeps failing the easier it will be to cut him even with all the times he did succeed. Plus all his successes are starting to prove to be flukes because the guy just isn't getting outs anymore.

he only blew one save, but let's not look past all of his losses.   I'm not going to trouble myself with looking up his stats, but it has to be three or four by now...

Urena or Ziegler, who ends up with more losses?

At least a portion of fault for Urena lies elsewhere.  You can't with it you don't score at least one.

Urena because he'll be around longer. Ziegler might not even get a chance to lose another game. Shooting for that 20-loss season!
