December 4, 20187 yr Tyler Flowers could come to us in the trade which would give us a catcher for the MLB team in the short term and would allow Atlanta to be back to two catchers. Just saying that already having 2 catchers doesnt have to stop any team from getting JT especially when JT upgrades every team.

December 4, 20187 yr Things are heating up ahead of next week's meetings in Vegas. I hope something actually gets resolved. Seems like every storyline gets hyped as being resolved at the winter meetings and then usually nothing really happens until like January.

I think they actually match up pretty well because their best 2 remaining prospects are huge needs for us: SS (Gimenez) and 1b (Alonso). Both are generally ranked pretty high (like top 60-70 overall). But the Mets are kind of a wildcard with the new GM, so they might also be willing to include guys from the big league roster (Nimmo, Rosario, Conforto).
December 4, 20187 yr to @SilverBullet's point, we need to get a sure thing or as close to a sure thing as possible. Getting a 5 overall is that. Getting two guys in the top 50 is nice, but not as good. Getting 2 guys in the top 100 (Mets possible offer) is ok but not as good.
