On that note - I do appreciate the lowering of prices and think it's fantastic to be able to actually get something to eat and drink and not spend half your paycheck to feed your fam. If they can get back to being competitive I hope they'd keep this pricing in place and don't just use it as a temporary fix to lure some extra people.

As it is, they have lots of empty spots they are paying for. Would be a large investment to pay for them all.

I can't justify spending an extra $10 just to park in the garage vs. some of the surface lots or "no blocky-blocky" parking around the park. There's a lot I always park in for $10, and I don't have to wait in a garage to get out (not like games are that busy), if they had equal pricing, I'd probably go in the garage, but I realize by charging $20, they're creating a breakeven point of double the number of spaces as they fill (i.e., they fill 10 spots for $20, they breakeven on 20 spots with that $10/spot payment to the city).

I'm hoping the same or at least, even if they change it some, they should always keep at least some value options. The wording of the announcement today doesn't make it sound like a temporary or just promotional thing so we shall see.

Free refills is so easy to give because who the hell can actually drink two full large cups of soda? You offer free refills on something that people won't really get more than one refill on and it's easy money. Have you seen the size of the bottomless popcorn? Unless you're sharing it with like 3 or 4 kids there's no way even two people are gonna finish that. I get the popcorn sometimes with my kid and it's just nasty to have all that salty taste after a while.

People were still parking at Sawgrass Mills when they could have parked a mile closer for free.

You can't compare the situations really though, there is no free giant alternative parking area like a mall parking lot near Marlins Park. I think free parking at the park would boost ticket sales a bit, but we won't find out anyway.

I can't see a situation the game experience improves dramatically to create enough revenue outside sustained longterm success. Atleast this will pull a few more dollars out of some fans pockets. It's more inline with eating at Miami Subs or the Checkers than it was before- so It's not terrible. I'm just happy they leaned a little into Arthur Blank and the Falcons' mentality and did this. We were discussing this months ago so I wonder who works for the Marlins that's on this board. SOMEONE DO AN IP TRACE TO MARLINS PARK!!!
