September 22, 20196 yr Padres were expected to contend or at least be better, Marlins weren’t. Some see the difference between Green and Don’s situations and others don’t. Of course those mad at Jeter for keeping don would’ve probably also acted out if he fired him. They would have said something like “sure blame the manager for your dirty work of tearing down the roster. Typical Jeter to not take the blame”
