If Miggy Ro can't play with a dislocated finger which I assume he can't, put him on the IL. We can't keep stashing guys on the bench who aren't available.

I was watching on my phone so it was hard to see but I was pretty sure I saw it swelling quite a bit immediately.

Could be getting another Marte tomorrow. Luis Marte is not in the Jax lineup tonight.

I know it’s different since miggy is an infielder but it’s funny how they’ll bring up everyone else before Sanchez.

The Lewin Diaz move really said it. We don't need a 3rd 1B. If Aguilar and Cooper can both play, we're good there and both played today.

i wonder if they approached Eddy Alvarez to inquire if he would be ok with coming up and losing his spot on the team USA roster or if they just flat out just haven't considered him?

So I guess it will be Jazz at short, Devers at 2nd and Diaz at 3rd.  Jazz is Jazz and we'll be good at SS.  I think Devers will hit and get on base.  I like his swing.  His defende looks good too.   

That just leaves Diaz.  He's been walking lately and not swinging at bad pitches. He's also had a little bit of bad luck.  The stolen HR yesterday and the stolen hit on a diving play today.  Let's see if he can turn it around.  We are going to miss Miggy's leadership though.   

Unfortunately there's no one else in the minors that can make a difference.   Marte and Alvarez are just bench pieces.  Might  want to start looking at the trade market. 

It all depends on how long Miggy and BA are on the shelf. Maybe Adam Frazier from Pittsburgh whose having  a very season can be had?   

 

I feel like diaz will piss me off but get better with ABs

I expect Berti and Diaz to split duty at 3b with one maybe running away with the job.

With what I've seen from Diaz I just don't see him beating out Berti. Berti definitely plays better D, superior baserunner, and I still believe is the better batter despite kinda stinking this year. 

We have NO Marte or have TWO Marte.
