How many runs will Luzardo give up in his 3 2/3 tonight?

They trade was worth it regardless 10/10 times. 😆

But really, he should be sent down and get some retooling

I’m just looking for more control. If he gives up runs whatever.

I agree the trade was Def worth it. Just frustrating to see him go out there and struggle when he clearly needs to be down on the farm working on things.

That BB almost backfired.

I don’t think the trade was worth it based on what we needed.  I was just being sarcastic based on another poster who roots for the Cards.

RF positioned basically in CF with Freeman up.

Also, the asshole umpire missed strike 1 on the 1st pitch to Freeman

I already see the mechanical improvement with Luzardo this outing. He’s getting more extension on his play leg instead of being short like he used to. Sometimes guys lack control because they’re too inconsistent with their arm slots and getting more extension is a way to normalize an arm slot. You still see him short stride a little and you see a difference from when he is and when he’s not.

Let’s see if he can get out of this.

Zoinks

dang, Luzardo sucks.   4 walks in 3 innings ain't gonna cut it kid

5 walks.  i'm shocked that Donnie has the patience to watch this.   Work this shit out in Jacksonville.

Can't really send him down at this point.  AAA season ends soon, he'd be right back up again

They also want him working directly with Mel I’m sure.

he’s looking pretty bad though. He has no idea where the ball is going when it leaves his hand

Actually, I forgot AAA started late this year and goes through September... so yeah, send this kid down because he has NO business being up at the MLB level

Maybe put him in the bullpen until he finds some confidence

I tell you what. This 3 man OF all have cannons and they’re gonna save some runs. Just trying to paint some positivity after Luzardo unraveled.

Too bad they can’t hit though 🤣🤣🤣

Yea. He needs to chang his entire lower half. His stride was better to start the game hence why he stated better but once he started to get in trouble he went right back to that short stride shit and you saw the lack of control again.

He can throw bags of peanuts into the stands... it might just improve his mechanics
