Alfart-O at 1B and batting sixth.... Really, can we please end this experiment?  He can't hit for shit and he is taking playing time away from prospects that might actually be here next year and need the at-bats / experience...

Jesus "Jam" Luzardo at it again

De La Cruz is wasted batting anywhere lower than the 6 spot

This kid likes to hang pitches

attention 3b coach:  we're like 20 games under .500,  SEND EVERYONE

I'm not telling him where the bathroom is...

Luzardo better be in the minors next year plain and simple.

we have a pretty good pitching organization generally so it's a high bar but Luzardo might be the worst starting pitcher we've used this season.  good lord i hope that gets better.

Honestly I think he’s gotten worse throughout his starts here..

People need to use a brain on what a good trade is or isn’t.

We just passed on a stud bat for a broken down pitcher while having the best pitching depth in the majors.

FO is backwards.

He needs sent down or use him in the bullpen.

I know the thinking is maybe having him up with the big club is good because then he can work with their pitching coaches & all (sure I guess?), but see I don't actually want to WATCH him working with the Marlins pitching coaches.

All but one poster besides me, thought the trade was head scratching.   I carefully had to express how it didn’t make sense fearing the pitch forks.

One gent, even said 10/10 you make that trade, even if it doesn’t work.....What? 💩

Done ranting, sorry folks.

I mean I don't think I've ever had less confidence in a SP. We're getting to like Conley/Chen level stuff here.  At least guys like Thompson and to a lesser extent,  Poteet, Holloway and Neidert, have shown some semblance of competence. This guy is arguably the single worst SP currently in the majors with X amount of starts. It's really fucking frustrating to watch and be a fan of.

I thought it sounded okay but admittedly I did not know the guy very well.

quite possible Alex Jackson is worse than Alfaro.   how is this possible.

I didn’t either.  But dang....the A’s, his injury, bad post injury stats & we needed bats.   Wasn’t worth the risk + Sixto should be a warning multiplier.

not getting a position player out of it was...... curious.

You mean to tell me a guy that only had 3 hits for his career is worse than Alfaro? You don’t say…
