Kim should have fired him in the offseason, especially when Jeter left. He's not her hire.. no reason to not pick your own manager.

Rojas middle of the lineup vs a lefty is fine by me. Prefer him to bat 2nd against them, or lead off, but he's fine there. 118 OPS+ vs lefties in his career, and 148 OPS+ last year for more recency.

Anderson should be batting 9th. But Berti's there. So Anderson should be batting 8th. But Stallings is there and he doesn't hit lefties well either, at least he didn't last year.

Not surprising, Don has sat players the day after having a big hit.... Can't have our hitters getting hot at the plate (even if it's a bad lefty/righty match-up)

it's fucking just idiotic that Jazz ain't in there today.  There's no reason to try and get EVERYONE in just because it's opening weekend.  The losses now count the same as losses in July or August.  I know most teams hate their manager but the more and more we see of Don the more idiotic his decisions seem to be.  I get that he's a "player" manager but at some point you'd think the "players" would prefer to be put in the best spot to WIN GAMES. 

I'd love to see what a modern baseball mind would do with this team. Donnie ain't it.  If they love him that much see if he wants some other FO type gig but he has no business managing games any longer.
