Yes, drag, magnus force, etc are going to play a huge role here. Found a fun little calculator using Google Sheets and had Coop's flyout had a 22.5 degree launch angle, it would have gone about 381 feet instead of 345.

I will say this for Jazz. He's shown the ability to make adjustments this year versus last year. Good to see him maturing a bit. He looked freaking lost vs musgrove the first two at bats.  He's learned from his defensive lapses throughout the season too when the same play comes back around that he screwed up the first time. Really good sign for him.

I said something similar to this to my father yesterday as well - there was a play Jazz made where he stayed calm, approached it carefully and made a good throw after taking a little time and I told him, "last year he probably throws that away or just rushes it."

He's maturing quickly out there. And as you say, the adjustments!
