    His approach sucks and he has an awful strike zone judgment. The first part might change a bit but that second part won't.

    This is not an issue of player personnel. This is not an issue of the Pirates advanced scouting doing their jobs. This is a coaching issue. Think about the recurring struggles the Marlins have had against the 5 ERA guys. The soft tossers. The guys who only make it to the big leagues because the other team is that bad. It has been going on for years. Does not matter who is on the Marlins. We continue to have no plan and no success against these mediocre pitchers. It would be one thing if the Marlins were the worst team in the league offensively. It would be one thing if we were worse vs the 4 ERA guys. We aren't. It's just the mediocre guys. It does not matter if we get new players. It won't end until the coaching and the overall offensive philosophy changes.

    Glad we took the lead, but that this organization has a lot of problems. I have no confidence anymore that it is due to fluke. The organization is broken and we will continue to underperform as long as it remains so.
