Only two teams have more wins.  Of course one of those is in the division...

Bird App people still saying we're just lucky and only beat the bad teams lol

Jordan Hicks is a guy who might flourish under Stottlemyre.  He'll be a free agent, is young and will be relatively cheap.  Plus he's already been instrumental in a Marlins victory.

He'd be a younger upgrade on Brazoban.

I’m getting Steve Bartman vibes on some of these Cinderella wins.  Finding a way to win is kinda the script that is being written.   I would define this season as once in a generation type script with lots of errors and wacky comebacks.  It’s almost like watching a movie, unreal.

Yeah I think he would’ve scored regardless. Would’ve been a play at the plate at least.

Doesn’t matter now though, Hicks threw it to @Das Texan.

Paul Goldschmidt's reaction pretty much summed it up.  To me it looked like he was saying oh what the fuck and then just stood there.  Incredible.

@Das Texan, you were wondering how the Cards would mess it up tonight…but I don’t think even you saw this one coming!

I'm constantly impressed by how my Cardinals can fuck up a game here in 2023!  Just when you think you've seen it all...

1. Marmol floats 3 names to start the game.  All 3 of them pitch in the game.  Maybe he meant that.  lolz.

2. Team comes back in incredible fashion, thanks Jordan.

3. Other Jordan throws the ball pretty much to the Spring complex allowing 2 runs to score and the game to end.  Quite frankly if they were down 2 runs there, Wendle would have raced around and scored himself.

Every night is another fun new way to embarass yourself it seems!

FYI not sure how many of you listen on the radio but Kyle Sielaff has been so amazing calling these big moments. I had to step out and went crazy hearing the walk off on the radio tonight. Loved Geffner but it's hilarious that he threw a little cheap shot at Sielaff when he left yet Sielaff has been incredible.

Great call full of excitement.  I"m sure John Rooney was just as animated after the Jordan Walker homer (if there was a camera on him). Honestly, you like that in your radio call.  Gotta put the listener like they are there and all!

Since his April meltdown, HIcks has been pretty solid.  Not sure what happened tonight (also not really getting a lot of work and all), but he has more or less been pretty darn good in the closer role, especially those random stretches they decide to not suck for 4-5 games or so once a month.

For anyone wondering about the Tommy Hutton dildo, it has a hand-crank.

It’s like one of those radios with no batteries but you crank it and can hear the radio. You crank the TH Dildo and it plays sound clips of his voice.

Wtf how many accounts is @Rydawg running at this point.

Arenado and Hicks for Eder and Watson?

I haven't listened to too many games on the radio, but he seems to be doing a good job the little I have heard.
