This ump is going to have a terrible grade tomorrow.

He's got everyone fucked up with the strike zone. Can't even get mad at Avi for that one.

Certainly not mad at Avi - far as I am concerned, he did what he was supposed to do. Waited for a good pitch, never got one, took four pitches out of the zone.

I feel like today's plan was supposed to be Soriano for 4 and Weathers for 4 and they just did not want to deviate from that plan.

That doesn't scream "trying to win" when you don't deviate from a failed plan.

Absolutely. It's ... it's something.

This is terrifyingly-bad management by Skip. How do you leave him in so long pitching so terribly. Walks and hits all over the place. Really sad

How the fuck are we still half a game out of a WC spot?  It feels like we haven't won a game in weeks.  LOL

Should have never lost this game.  This one rest squarely with Skip.

Good news is that we should have plenty of offense the rest of the way and a full rotation to boot with Eury back.

We're still in this.  Need a winning streak.

I just don’t understand why his managing has changed.

seems like he’s leaving guys out there to dry when they clearly don’t have it, and it’s resulting in loss after loss.

Did Glass get injured again? At this point he's a less talented version of Buxton. This is getting laughable.

It's just a cramp. He should be back out there tomorrow.

But my question is why is it always him? These aren't freak things anymore. Cooper was constantly criticized for being injury prone, but Jazz has been just as bad if not worse over the last two years. It's concerning that he's supposed to be one of the faces of this franchise

The turf toe situation was absolutely a freak thing caused by some, for lack of a better term, negligence by the ballpark crew to not cover up the ONE bit of concrete sticking out from under the wall. A cramp ... happens. Ohtani is leaving games lately with cramps. That said, yes, HYDRATE better.

Oblique strain, yes, on him, likely from his violent swings.

Last year, torn meniscus in Spring Training and a stress fracture in his back. Not entirely sure how the stress fracture happened in his back - maybe happened also from the swings. Last year though made me respect him a ton because he truly tried to play through it. May have been dumb on his part to not rest but he's a trooper.

Anyhow. Nobody is hiding the fact that Jazz gets hurt a lot. Not sure how you've missed him being called "Glass Chisholm" on here.

Wouldn’t it be concrete toe?
