Pork or vegetable fo sho. I love shrimp but not in an egg roll. Also, West Coast Chinese joints are shit compared to East Coast - unless you're actually in like San Fran or something.

Tbh I just say egg roll so I'm not sure but by process of elimination its definitely not shrimp and I don't think it's vegetable. It's the regular ones. Not spring rolls either. 

If with multiple people kinda have to get multiple items and do a mix and match of everything though. 

I don't need fried rice but I like that too when it comes to sharing.

Wife and I came across a fab Beef and Broccoli recipe some years back and make it ourselves now if we want it. Not too hard to make either.

I bet you'd do well at those Chinese buffets. Though the food quality usually isn't as good there.

From the local place if ordering for myself, I usually do either the chicken and broccoli, or the honey garlic chicken.

In regard to buffets I'll tell you what I miss...I miss the normal sized ones that had maybe 15-20 things total so they could control the quality on them much easier versus these mega buffets that have literally 200 different things on them (90% of which are always cold or like warm at best). 

The small ones are almost impossible to find these days. Out here in Arizona I was able to find a couple in various sketchy areas that I'll occasionally make a trip to when I want to be gluttonous. I've yet to ever have a good experience at any of the modern super buffets either here, Tampa or Vegas.

I loved honey chicken as a kid but now it's awful to me. Was that just a kid's thing because it's basically chicken nuggets in honey or am I crazy and it's still good now?
