November 4, 20232 yr I wonder if Kim knew next year's team would be a challenge to put together and if that had any influence on her decision to leave. Because she could have accepted Bruce's offer and new plans and I'm sure she would have been paid well so while she had every reason to decline because of the new system she might also have thought "2024 is gonna be tough there anyways so nows my chance to dip." Just a thought cuz it's not like she was dropping an easy gig.

I did consider this line of thought as well and I think she felt with the loss of being able to draft etc that their likely regression this coming season would make her all too easy of a scapegoat so why not go out on top?
