January 7, 200422 yr Hmmm...interesting. He's a bit of a head case, but there's no denying his talent. He's an average 20/20 guy over 11 seasons, and had 24 HR/22 SB last season. Think of him as Vlad-lite (but not too lite). The Marlins may wait to see what happens with Guerrero before making a move for Mondesi. If he's "relatively" cheap, I say go for it!

I also wondered how El Nuevo got this story when no one else is reporting it. They are always a few days late with stories and hardly ever report anything earth-shattering. I guess we'll see.
