Pop quiz: who is the player brandishing the chainsaw?

if it's a current Marlin it has to be Derek Hill?

Last game for me for a while as tomorrow is early and then the West Coast blackouts start for me. Did the Anaheim-San Diego road trip several years ago and ended up staying in the same hotel as the Marlins. We were walking out as they were boarding the bus in Anaheim. Haven't been since the pandemic.

Marlins now have 5 homers by their catchers (4 of Agustin's and 2 of Hicks's are as the DH). We only had 6 last year.

Based on the fact that AI loves to use the old logo I was thinking a former player. But really I didn’t have an answer for the question lol

Looks like Marcell Ozuna but if that was the case the bear would be holding a banana daiquiri not a banana.

I agree, looks like Ozuna. Or I was also thinking a super jacked Bonifacio

Sanchez just looked like Ozuna on that play in RF....

I really dislike this managers style. There's no reason that Norby and Hicks shouldn't be playing everyday. I don't know that Hicks is an everyday player, but he's been hot. There's no reason for Simon to be starting.

Five good innings from Weathers there. Started laboring a little in 5th, imagine that is it for him especially coming off of an injury. Time for High Leverage Fo-Shay.

He's got one more inning in him.

Yeah, should have left Weathers in. Fuck McFly and fuck and Bendix for their stupid philosophy.

This coaching staff is so scared of what might happen, but ignore what is actually happening. Starter is not allowed to really throw to the lineup a 3rd time, but they are completely unwilling to do anything when a reliever is imploding....

They're also scared to give up 1 run for a double play. They play they infield in and always end up giving up 3 or 4 runs instead of 1 or 2. Even though we still have 4 innings to go.

Weathers is just back from injury 80 pitches is fine to pull him. This is not a competitive team no reason stretch him out further. This bullpen is terrible besides a few guys it is what it is.

Watching Sanoja pitch the 9th is kind of like walking in your house after a long week of work only to see the Missus getting railed in the bedroom.

Final score:

Cubs 14

Cuckolds 1

It is going to be awkward later in life when my daughter Laurbert Soriano Sanoja Stallings IV asks me how she was conceived and I say well normally Marlins games are dad's time to unwind but when they get blown out I have to give mom a little loving.
