Troy with the RBI and the stellar play at first in the bottom of the inning. He really needed some good things to happen.

Heriberto has been unreal. What a pick up he's been. Bendix can really find talent.

Should be in the lineup daily.

They used him vs lefties primarily when he got called up, but he has held his own vs righties. I agree. Every day.

In case you didn't know, a little bit about Heriberto:

He was originally signed by the Rangers and was a Dominican League and Arizona Rookie League legend for his prodigious homers in rookie ball. Scouts loved him and dubbed him "Heribertgod" due to his power. The Rangers traded him to our farm team, lol, the Rays as part of a three-prospect rookie ball lottery ticket package for Nathaniel Lowe and others.

Heribertgod continued to show power but his swing and miss was an issue as he went up the minor league ladder and his defense was a bit subpar as well. Outside of one injury-riddled year he had an OPS over .800 every year, so he has always had a plus hit and power tool. Last year he hit 23 homers between AA and AAA but struggled in his first try at the top minor league level. The Marlins plucked him from our farm team, the Rays, in the off-season signing him as a minor league free agent.

He raised eyebrows in spring training again displaying his plus hit tool. His first full season at AAA was a bit bumpy and it was a surprised when the Marlins promoted him. He has always had the talent and hit/power tool and has impressed so far in the big leagues.

We poke fun at our multiple Rays castoffs being picked up by Heribertgod and Ronny Henriquez have been absolute diamonds in the rough so far. Ronny Simon not so much.

In Saint Peter of Bendix we trust.

My spreadsheet says he needs to be in daily.

He's hitting RHP better than Jeezy was.

I'm with you. Just get rid of Wags.
