2004 Slogan Contest Round 1 Poll

Featured Replies

I vote for "Marlins Baseball: The Next Evil Empire" :whistle

Make your choice, if it's your own nomination or not. Vote for what you think is the BEST one.

82 nominations were made.

This will be open for 1 week and then the Top 25 will move on unless there are less than 25 with at least 1 vote. In that case, everything with a vote would move on obviously.

I will break all ties via a coinflip if necessary.

Slogan will be: "Thanks for the Memories Marlins. Enjoy playing in Vancouver (or fill in the blank city)." That slogan is based on the reality that this team will move if season tickets and support don't rise very soon. I've never heard more negativity out of a so-called fan (I'm assuming thats what you are, it's hard to tell) in my life.

I know this doesn't count, but I have a slogan-

Florida Marlins: It's safe to come out now...

:) I thought that would be proper, now that there is officially no dismantling of the team, such as in 1998.

I vote for 'Proving Selig Wrong' in the real category

BTW: Welcome to the boards, and be sure to read the surgeon genrals warning about this site...

The Brooklyn Dodgers?

I have actually been a part of the official Marlins website, and have been active in the forums for a good year. I am probably the most loyal fan, not to take anything away from the members here :) I am completely open about my love for the team, and I protect them and my fellow fans from any bashings by other fans.

Anyway, go fish.

POR SIEMPRE

i voted for "Cinderella never looked this good" cuz it has a nice ring to it..

Florida Marlins: Proving Bud Selig wrong since 1993

I voted for: 2004 marlins: "this time around we'll be defending"

But i really liked these: The Future is now and Catch us if you can...those were good.

I don't remember what I voted for - there are so many all-star choices.

Explain to me how "Suck it, Fudge" got more votes than "One Team, One Dream."

VOTE ONE TEAM ONE DREAM!

Vote Resistance is Futile!

A similar phrase would be Resistance is Pointless
