schedule for marlins
http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/...=fla&m=4&y=2005 anyone notice how little off days they have, we have a stretch of 17 straight games at one point, also 12 and 13 game homestands, along with many 10-11 game road trips. it use to be like 6 games then an off day, also use to be like 6 game homestand, then 3 game roadtrip, then 3 game homestand, and a 6 game road trip. things have changed big time. its awesome that we have long homestands but also many long roadtrips. and 17 straight games is gonna kill us in september. :confused

AJ Burnett trying to pull a Carl Pavano
watever, he said he wants to be a free agent and that he will start 9-0. hey if he can get us to win the WS then w/e leave, we can get another good pitcher since we just won the WS. i hope hudson, and hey penny could comeback. :deal :eyebrow

MLB.com Fantasy Preview
u are all wrong, louie was on my team for fantasy last year, he is good to get, he hits alot of hits especially when he is on, stolen bases, his average is always good, and has the rbi every few games, those hits he gets r very valuable for fantasy. now would he be in the top 5 in 2nd base for offense, NO, but i would put him in front of reyes and walker for sure, especially walker who is only good in fenway.

Who will lead the team in Homeruns?
Cabrera will probably hit 40-43 HRs Delgado will probably hit 35-40 HRs Lowell will probably hit 27-35 HRs 675537 A bit high on Cabs, no? Cabs will prob hit 32-35 homers. Delgado prob 35-40 homers. Lowell about 32-34 .. 675542 he was a bit high on cabs, but ur to low, i say right between both of urs. around 37-38, i would love 40. as for lowell i agree i hope he hits around 32-34 that would be aweome, and delgado if he hits 35 i would be a little dissapointed, i say he hits atleast 38, but i hope he gets to that big number 40!!

Give Ency Some Love!
a agree enc. did terrible last year, but i disagree with some of u sayin a healthy enc. is a bad player. He hit 19 homers and 93 rbi's when he was healthy in 2003, i also hope we can trade him but just cause of the salary, if we were payin him 1.5 mill i say hell keep him, someone gets injuried we can use him, if he were to play a full season now i bet he will atleast get .270 18 homers 80-85 rbi's atleast, not to mention 20-20 possibility.

Marlins 2004 Highlight Video
Here is my constructive criticism: 1) It lacked strikeouts. Most of then were by Benitez and I saw a couple of them by Beckett and Penny. You didn't include Pavano's shutout('s) and his pumping fist at the end. 2) There was no JP stealing bases. 3) Mike's 3 HR's. 4) Sorry but the music reaked. Other than that it was a nice and nostalgic video and very well done by just using WMM. 669273 u seem like a nice person. :whistle

espn rankings
our players r ranked good. look at the 100 top players u find some marlins, but look at the rankings per position. the most impressive is in the outfield. Cabs and Pierre are 9-10 http://games.espn.go.com/content/flb/2005/story?id=1971253

BREAK DOWN POSITION BY POSITION
Castillo over Vidro? Ehhhhh. These rankings are pretty much useless anyway, a team could have a few elite players and a bunch of guys that aren't very good and rank like 30% while a team could have a bunch of 2nd tier players and rank 0% with this system. I think you have to rank each position 1-5 and give points for every player. That might even things out a bit more. 663130 you are just jelous that we have a better 2b and he kill the mets every year(hits wise) plus he choose to stay here for less money :whistle 663301 No, becaue Vidro hits for more power and a higher average. All things equal, if I were starting a team I would pick Jose Vidro over Luis Castillo. 663422 i wouldnt. louie is awesome. he can hit, steal, runs the bases awesome, clutch hits, hits for a high average, and can get really hot, anybody remeber? who was it that got 35 straight games wit a hit? vidro? :whistle

Pudge
didnt LeRetard call signing him putting boob implants on a corpse? 663420 yup, he was right wasent he? all we did was win a W.S. :balloons
