1. so are we doing good or bad? no no wait we suck, i mean are we doing worse or better?
2. I hold my own word, I WOULD give up Hermida for bay, I WOULD give up olsen or hermida for redman, and I'd definately trade both for Odalis Perez. Jeremy Hermida is thought to be a five-tool or five star prospect, BUT he isn't even proven, c'on now, you can't compare this guy to a Jason Bay, most of you talk like this guy is a miguel cabrera, that IS RARE GUYS, Jason Bay is already hitting major league pitching, and I don't know why u guys hate big red, he is a work horse, eats up major innings, under a contending teams, he allows the lowest runs, the guy was a big success in 2003, everytime I saw him or D-Train pitch, I remember us winning the game. I have been a fan for teh longest, even before 2003 and 1997, and if 2003 showed the REAL big red, I WANT HIM BACK, no questions asked, the guy is fantastic. With the kinda bullpen we have, we need a guy that can go long through a game. I bet you we get big red, we will make the playoffs.........i'll put my money where my mouth is. I love this guy. No need to bash, I am entitled to my opinion, plus I am a Marlins fan since 93' so I am untouchable! Hermida can go! I'd rather spend the money on Encarnacion, or another free agent. 875275 post of the year :lol :lol :lol :notworthy
3. I believe he's learned a lesson from the LA trade of 04. 875693 One can only hope.... And I'd agree that acquiring Granderson doesn't make much sense without trading Lowell, as Hermida is already penciled in as RF next year. Unless one of them can play CF (and the team was willing to jettison Pierre), Lowell would have to be moved to create room for both Granderson (or Anderson from the Sox) and Hermida to play in the OF in 2006, unless one of them (most likely whoever is acquired in a trade) was used as trade bait in the offseason. 875716 the la trade was awesome, what is wrong wit u people, we traded away a 1st baseman that had so many holes in his swing and an out-of-shape pitcher that gets injuried alot, in return we got an awesome catcher, a RF, and a good reliever, the only thing he did wrong ever was not signing pudge and lee and went for lo duke and delgado. i kno pudge wanted to much but pudge and lee are making about wat delgado and lo duca are making. :plain
4. lol thats cool thing to say
5. i have season tix so im going.
6. i am now leaning to keep a.j. im at 55% to keep, 45% to trade for a good deal, man i wish we could sign him to a 3-21 mill contract but we cant, 1. he wont accept it 2. we need money to lock-up the future 1.miguel cabrera future homerun king, 2.D-Willis, future multiple cy young winner. plus beckett to if the injurys slow down.
7. i also agree to keep a.j., but only if there is no awesome deal in return, if we keep a.j. and make it to the playoffs, we will win!!! imagine this 1st game beckett, 2nd game willis, 3rd game a.j. sweep, next series, beckett,willis,a.j.,win,win,win, then moehler/valdez lose, beckett win. next series willis,a.j, beckett,win,win,win,moehler/valdez win/lose, willis-win. Of course this is all if they are like there good-selves not the slumping willis of late, the injuried beckett, and the wild burnett. if we make it to the playoffs the offense will be decent enough to put up an average of 4,5,6 runs a game and the pitching will be amazing.
8. we have to trade burnett, or we wont get anything for him, but we should keep lowell, he is gonna have a good second half end up with 10-12 homers 70-75 rbi's and .255-.260 Avg. and then next year he will be back.
9. man he is awesome now, imagine in the next 8 years when he is in his prime, lol i cant wait.
10. i say the nats hopefully take 2 of 3 and then we take 2 of 3 from them, while the braves hopefully lose a few games in a row and we take off, i just wanna say thamks to the d-backs for their effort aagainst the bravos de atlanta :arms

12. would u guys make the trade if it did not involve contreras??
13. what is so good about that trade, a pitcher with a 8.14 era in mccarthy, a washed up pitcher in contreras, and i am not even sure wat marte plays 873914 mccarthy is a young top prospect who will be good, contreras can be lights out if he can control his pitches, and marte is one of the best lefty relievers. mccarthy had 113 Ks in 94 innings in A ball and 29 in 26 innings in AA last year. we improve our bullpen, add a decent SP, and a top end pitching prospect that we can keep or send him somewhere else for something else 873917 ok how old is mccarthy and the thing is the deal MIGHT include contreras, its not for sure.
14. i like the angels deal the best.
