If the Marlins manage to win 6 of their next nine games, I'll start thinking WC. But even if they do that, I hope they do not mortgage the future in order to possibly grab a WC berth. trust me there is no chance in that happening, heck if anything the FO will think this year is just building towards next year. if anything we will just get more prospects

Just want to give some props to Willingham and Reggie for their continuous stellar play in the outfield. I cant help but have thoughts of Willie Mays when I see the way Reggie navigates the OF and Willingham basically locked himself into a Gold Glove tonite. I apologize to Deep Fried Fish and Felo.......you guys are right. The rest of this team is bringing Reggie down. If he was surrounded by some real Major Leaguers he would surely be making a run at the Triple Crown this year. My bad. lmao.......sadly i am laughing

We beat Pedro last time anyway THats right but that doesnt mean we can beat him again. I, like many of us today was fuming after todays game....ever since we started winning alot and became talk of the wild card and 4th place then 3rd place and we even reached second place i kept looking at the standings and it was driving me crazy everyday now since i have hope for a playoff run, but then i sat back and thought.....we are a 15 million dollar team with 19 rookies making their debut and cough reggie abercrombie cough and young pitching staff...we're not suppose to win, we are suppose to lose 100 games and be worse then the royals, but we arent worse then the royals we arent gonna lose 100 games and we are winning good enough all we do now is win the next 2 vs nats and 2 out of 4 vs. the mets and we are 39-47 at the all star break and probaly a game behing the phils if not tied for second.....SECOND PLACE....who would have thought we would be there in may....so sit back and enjoy your marlins of 2006 making a push for .500 and wait till ur 2007 playoff marlins take the field on april 2007..... :thumbup

ok there is some really dumb ppl here and really smart ppl. i agree that trading willis isnt a bad thing MAYBE. but not now, do it next year or so and get 2-3 capable players for him, not just wright or milledge. of course this is if we dont get da stadium then, if we get da stadium hell keep him and cabs, sign cabs to a 7 year deal and dtrain dont worry bout him making 2 bad starts my god!!!! ppl are panicing with two bad starts. as i recall last year after the all star break he had 3 straight starts with allowing 6-8 runs. so just calm down!
