  1. even coach said he was OK about going after the staff - especially at a state university - they are getting lots of dollars, lots of public funding (and yes some alumni funding in the budget) to do a task as a profession these kids are scholarship athletes, who repay their university by playing hard and bringing money into the schools - often more than their scholarship is worth no need to take personal digs at a kid because the inside rumor is he requested a transfer - or he gets nervous before a game - the article was trash - blast the coach about how he determines which QB to start without blasting the QBs who are just trying to perform
  2. I heard on the radio this morning that milton is vowing to get his revenge.............
  3. I agree with him 100% - loved some of the applause at the end
  4. that's a really good deal - i'd be interesting in buying it and flipping the TV pending on shipping

  6. it happens all the time - they get asked about it, especially when it's a high profile individual even last year as the canes were falling apart james was throwing support and love towards coker and he never even played for the guy (although his family did) - rolle was pretty vocal as well and he did play for the guy it's not the top line item - but if i'm a recruit and the school i'm looking at hasn't won a bowl game in a decade, names a starting QB only to watch him lose his job and transfer in two weeks and has a coach who's getting roasted in the media it would be nice to see some level of reassurance that the ship isn't completely sunk
  7. what's worse is that jones would of transferred earlier if weis had been upfront about the QB situation - well seasoned recruiters are going to be able to play off this clown pretty well it also seems like he doesn't have the love from a lot of his former players - he's getting roasted right now and there isn't an "everything will be OK" soundclip from quinn or any other recent program graduate
  8. definitely - weis is a jerk and it very well could haunt him
  9. the guy is always whining about something with some kind of chip on his shoulder his points may of been relevant a time ago (including when he is in college) - but there is no way he's getting criticized more than any other QB in the league aside from a couple golden boys who get free passes (and then only favre comes to mind and it's not because he's white) seahawk fans loved warren moon and absolutely roasted matt hasselbeck in his early time - guys like dilfer have had successful careers where they get abused often unfairly - peyton manning struggled his rookie year and then all he heard was about how much he couldn't win when it counted (despite all the other wins) - phillip rivers is on the hotseat coming off a year his team won 14 games - jake plummer gets benched mid-way through the year despite having his team slotted for the playoffs - grossman is constantly grilled - lane kiffen is already calling out McCown - joey harrington is about to be replaced (by a black QB if leftwich meets well with Atlanta) welcome to life as an NFL QB in a city that is tough on all their athletes - even HOF white third basemen

  13. agreed - some of his beliefs just aren't feasible - but a lot of it makes sense from a core value perspective - espeically from a fiscal perspective - by supporting him we can show the party that we do have some weight and hopefully inspire future politicians to adopt some of these beliefs - similar to how the "moral majority" railroaded inane issues like gay marriage into the forefront
  14. i agree with a more town hall type environment - without the scripted safe questions remember this was a fox news production last night - chris wallace was a complete biased prick as well get a real debate going on, with real questions by real people you can't blame the candidates though if the moderators do a poor job
  15. i don't agree with the complete withdrawl and will also recognize that he's hard headed i personally like seeing the wide range of candidates - it brings new and fresh ideas into the public light and can help force issues that the major 3-4 candidates would rather not get caught on tape on it also gives those candidates a chance to respond to someone seriously challenging their view i find there is good value in such things i also didn't bring up a straw poll to say he has a chance of winning - mainly pointing out that his ideas are gaining enough interest and mobilization that it would be a shame to not have them presented on a larger scale
  16. low taxes, small government, local control over federal regulations, spending american dollars to help out issues in america and not wanting to debt spend our way into chinese control - sounds pretty conservative to me then again after a good decade of redefining conservatism to mean social more than fiscal i would expect the current mold to scoff at such ideas - which is the main reason i no longer relate to the modern republican party i don't agree with everything Paul says and think he's off the mark enough on a couple issues that it will really hurt him - however, his recognizing that things are broken right now and standing by his principle to walk the walk has me liking his style these many of us disgruntled ex-republicans out there who are being brought back in by him and to limit any candidate from a PRIMARY debate is asinine - especially one that is finishing top 3 in any straw poll you can find btw - it's not a bad thing that democrats would like a candidate either - that's kind of the goal imo - find a man of principle with strong ideas that people on both sides of the isle can relate to which can act as a unifying force - it's not like democrats are evil people who want to run down the country, i just don't believe they know how to spend my money better than I do - if they are OK with low taxes and a more localized gov't, then welcome aboard
  17. your right - it is sad that when someone with some real base line conservative values (like paul) is made to feel like he doesn't belong at the party something is sad and wrong

    go seahawks!
  19. good riddance nadal and serena
  20. cabbies hate the fees though - i travel a fair amount on business and put it all on the corporate card - first question I ask when I get in the car is if they take visa credit cards then about 80% of the time when going to pay I get begged for cash instead
  21. i'll give this one more try sober - if I bomb again i'm heading to whiskey for guidance

i'm flying up to seattle on thursday for the game vs the bucs - so pumped as I haven't been up there in 5 years my main question is whether or not stevens will see the field - he deserves a nice welcome home from the fans

Hes an old guy with a red mercedes, a woman once ran out of the house claiming he was running a brothel in there. Random woman with random men come to the house. Its really actually interesting to watch. Police have been around many times, yet no arrests. I miss my old neighbor. the real question is this - aside from whoring, does he also provide a marketplace for fine electronics/furniture?! i'm looking to bang a hooker on a lay-z-boy while watching HD porn on a 60 inch plasma - then take the chair and electronics home with me
  25. at least they have a team................. go Drexel!
