Today your World Champion Florida Marlins ended their 9 game franchise tying winning streak. Ismael Valdez put up a solid game but the offense just couldn't come through. It was a tough loss and if the Houston Astros win tonight we could be 3 games behind. However all is not over, and the Marlins are still in the race, being only 2 games behind. Pierre went 2 for 3 today and expanded his hitting streak to 16 games. The Cubs are our next obstacle and it's going to be a tough stretch. The Marlins have to remain hot and it would be to their favor if the Astros choke. :marlins
