I don't hate USF's team. I just hate how their "fans" had become so arrogant and cocky after half a season of good play. Also, we know we aren't as good as our potential yet. This is a rebuilding year. We have inexperienced players. We didn't expect to win a national championship. We expected a few losses. But the fact that both of those losses came down to the wire speaks volumes, considering how young a team this is. And we still have a shot to win the SEC. Reminding me that the Gators have two losses doesn't hurt my feelings. The future is very bright.

I don't know man. FAU is in Florida and they didn't play all that much better than them.

Thank god. I wonder how many USF "fans" show up to the next game in Tampa. Those fans will be rooting for a team with less losses then your beloved Gators...Gonna be pretty funny when USF potentially is ranked ahead of the gators at the end of the season. My comment was targeted at the nature of their fanbase (which consists 90% of bandwagoners who these past few weeks, out of nowhere, somehow became more cocky and more arrogant than even Ohio State fans last season), not how many losses they have and how many the Gators have. But good one. *Zing!*

If this move would happen, the Southeast Conference would be faced with filling a vacancy. That leads to speculation that the SEC might approach the University of South Florida to leave the Big East and come aboard. The rationale there being that the Atlantic Coast Conference has two members residing in Florida and it would even out the SEC?s representation in the state verses the ACC. USF in the SEC? Why not? That's the rationale?

Well tonight I wandered drunkenly into a smoke shop in the West Village and haggled a deal on a small bubbler and for $20 I now have a piece. I haven't bought since I arrived in NY in July but I guess if I ever feel the need, I've got something to use.

I like it. Some cool ideas in the movie and great animation. I usually can't sit through the whole thing at once though.

I smoked every day in college (thanks Bright Futures!). Sophomore year was the I'm-never-not-stoned (including in class) year, junior year I cut back slightly and senior year I only smoked at night. Now I do it once in a while.

As for overlooking Auburn, take this for what it's worth but my buddy toured the Gators locker room this past week through his sports something-or-other grad program and said that plastered literally everywhere on the walls were signs reading 13-1, 27-17, Auburn, and photos from the game.

What? You left in the 3rd? Indeed, I've never left a game early before, but I was like in row 87 and the game was horrible. Row 87? You might as well have watched it on TV. How can a college stadium have a row 87? That's absurd. (I know you were likely exaggerating, but after my visit to UF....I do concur that Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium has many seats at quite an altitude.) BTW Chewie, you need to make the trip to JAX for Florida-Georgia. On my trip to Tennessee last year I was in row 90 something.
