  1. Yeah but that post means less than nothing lol
  2. Yeah but flip offense and pitching on our end and it’s essentially the same thing. Maybe not this year in particular but when the Staff is Sandy, Eury, Cabrera, Luzardo, and Sixto, a “good enough” offense might be just enough to do the same as they did
  3. tell it to the Phillies and their world series defense
  4. At this point I’m not even bothered by the opinion in and of itself. What annoys the shit out of me is that these reporters write about it like it isn’t the most obvious and tired storyline in MLB. It’s like someone thinking they need to write an article in 2023 about how McDonald’s is unhealthy….we fucking know….move on and do some real reporting and leave the low hanging fruit to the high school journalism kids.
  5. Agree, but if they offer me a signed warstic with an ash handle and Matte black barrel Im pulling the trigger.
  6. Thing is it’s much more rare to see a good pitching prospect who dominates in AA/AAA come up and not be any good in the bigs. Where as lately I feel so many highly-touted hitting prospects come up and never put it together. Look at Brinson, Kelenic, Adell, and pretty much all the top 100 guys the marlins had that became less than nothing. No thanks!
  7. I don’t want anymore “prospects”. Give me players like Arraez and Reynolds who have come up to the bigs and proven they can do it.
  8. Glad to hear it, this is very good news! Id rather give him plenty of reps in AAA to get his mechanics figured out
  9. I went and bought a gameboy color and Pokémon silver this weekend. Let me tell you, im going on my 5th badge, and im over the moon.
  10. I would say Garret gets the swing man role in the bullpen
  11. You sir, are a wild animal and I’m here for it…
  12. He can! And he went to college at Arkansas so his back is full of razors or something like that. I don’t see that helping on the field too much but it’s pretty bad ass.
  13. Absolutely man! I remember Benni before they told him to lift the ball in 2019 and quite literally ruined his swing. Once he went to KC and got his approach back the average and OBP shot back up. Plus he’s an awesome teammate and one of those gritty players you just love to root for. Basically I’m a fan of his if you can’t tell lol
  14. Yeah definitely, might as well get a solid piece fod him like they did. Avi is the one that I desperately wish they hadn’t committed to. Could have signed Benintendi this off-season instead and really balanced out the lineup more.
  15. I agree with the trade, but part of me is wondering if with the new offensive coaching staff and the changes they’ve already made to the hitters’ mechanics (according to the players) may have been able to correct the issues they embedded into J.J. Over the years. Probably not which is why I think this trade works, but definitely still a lingering thought lol
  16. If you use your other foot too you’d probably throw harder.
  17. 100% agree, hence the mutual interest Part. Can’t say I blame him honestly!
  18. Dodgers signed Reyes at 1.1M for next season. Seems like the marlins could have been able to sign him assuming there was mutual interest…
