Anyone heard them? I picked up their new cd about a month ago. Great buy. I had read about them in a Rolling Stone or something. They sound like the Strokes but with a little more blues-soul in the vocals. I'd recommend buying "Taper Jean Girl" on iTunes as a sample song of their new cd. Or buy Holy Roller Novacaine from their earlier stuff.

Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens... Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door. Actually, there would be no need for White Entertainment Television or Miss White America....why? Because most of television is white entertainment. Granted there's UPN and some shows like Bernie Mac or whatever with black actors, but most of television is targeted at white America. Most of Miss America consists of white females. There's no need for WET or Miss White America because whites aren't the minority. There's reverse racism for sure in the U.S. But don't try stirring up trouble with crap like that if it's not needed. I hate hearing whites complain about "well there's no White Entertainment Television" when it's not like they're having trouble finding shows for white people. BET was obviously created because blacks were having trouble finding shows targeted at black America. I'm not so sure racism is as prevalent towards blacks as Jesse Jackson makes it out to be, but don't act like reverse discrimination is equivalent to segregation.

I think there are other football positions tougher than QB...decision making may be tough, but much depends on reading coverages before the play begins. I say Cornerback is the toughest position. You're out on an island often times, and your man can not have a catch the entire game, but one screw up or one blown coverage, and you get booed. Same goes for an offensive tackle. He can keep that DE from getting a sack for 60 plays, but that 1 play he gets a sack, and everyone talks about how that DE was such a disruption to the offense, and how great he was.
