Outfield Problems
I really think Hermida and Ross should be benched from now on. I think they should call up Aguila or Reed to play every day with Amezaga in CF and put Wes Helms in RF. Helms played OF a few times in Spring training. Vargas sent down
According to the marlins website Jason Vargas was sent down to Triple A. I think it was a bad idea considering his experience. *merged topics*

All-time Marlins team
Mike Lowell is deserves a spot in third base. Maybe Lowell had a personal problem but Miguel Cabrera should be penciled as a left fielder. We are looking here at ALL-TIME MARLINS TEAM at each position. Lowell has never used steroids. Catcher- Ivan Rodriguez 1st base- Jeff Conine 2nd base- Luis Castillo SS- Alex Gonzalez 3RD BASE- MIKE LOWELL left field - Miguel Cabrera Center field- Preston Wilson right field- Kevin Millar A.J. Burnett Josh Beckett D-train Livan Hernandez Alex Fernandez Closer - Benitez Bullpen- Urbina, Moehler, Tejera, looper, and Jones.

Will Jason Stokes ever get a chance to play with the Marlins.

Former Marlins - Closer edition
I go with Rob Nen

Former Marlins - Pitchers Edition
My choice on this poll is Josh Beckett.

Wes Helms
What are we going to do with Wes Helms? I really like what he did in Milwauke but how could he be good here. Helms is an everyday type of player. Or a player like Brian Banks that got many ABs. With Cabrere in third, he won't see a lot of action there. And with Mike Jacobs at first, he wont see a lot of action there. I think he should be converted to left field.

Former Marlins
To do this topic, i used long time Marlins.

Former Marlins
I think Mike Lowell or Jeff Conine. Conine was here in 1993 and Lowell put the best overall numbers than any other marlin.

Alex Gonzalez?
Has anybody heard anything of the signing of Alex Gonzalez to Boston?
-
Which new player are you most excited about?
Willinghan, Aguila, and Olsen
-
Andino to start at SS over HanRam?
Andino has more experience in the majors

Are the Marlins going to sign........
Nate Bump is a good pitcher to have in the bullpen. I think he could be a nice fit in the closer role, or maybe set-up. I think we have a really good solid bullpen: Name Career ERA Nate Bump 4.68 Joe Borowski 3.90, 264 games, 44 saves Tim Bowyer 5.59 but 12 SO in 9.2 IP Josh Johnson or Olsen(Johnson- 3.65) (Olsen - 3.98) Logan Kensing 10.24 Randy Messenger 5.35 Kerry Ligtenberg 3.82, 386 games, 48 saves (invitee) I think Mark Little is a really good backup outfielder, who has been invited to camp. He could back-up All three players in the outfield, Aguila, Reed, and Hermida.

Red Sox acquire OF Crisp, Sign SS Gonzalez
According to the Boston Red Sox website, Alex Gonzalez will sign a two year contract with Boston. Also, Coco Crisp will go to Boston in a deal that will send Guillermo Mota and Andy Marte to the Indians.
