Rumor is JP is available and Philly is after him. If he gets put on waivers doesnt the team with the worse record get the chance to trade for him if more than one team puts a claim on him? At this point in time that would be us, if no other teams get involved. If the asking price isnt that high Im all for that especially being only 2 games out of the WC.

Pierre won't pass through waivers. He has no contract beyond this year and several contenders are desperate for outfielders. Of course if it comes very soon, we might among the first of those teams.

Leave Amezaga in and lets see what happens.

I'd bring up Reed as a pinch runner/ defensive replacement after the 40 man roster expansion, but thats basically it.
