well you got to admit the guy brought player like Pudge, Delgado kept Lowell here. There is no question in my mind I think he would bring payroll up if needed once the staduim issue is completed. I think gammons is right thou sometimes you got to hit the buttom to get back up. Heck look at the yankees close to 200 mil and 5-6 atm if we would have kept the team form last year. Loria would have had to fork over a ton of cash delgado went form 4 mil to close to 14 in one year easly we could have been looking at 80-90 mil this year.
