Did you see Mitre first 3-5 outing with the Marlins uniform on. He had a ERA of 2.50 something. It only take 1 crucial outing to destroy your ERA but Mitre haven't pitch many games so he can still easily turn it around.

I guess this has to do with JJ being our #1 pitcher in the rotation. Or our #5 pitcher facing other teams with the Marlins playing 1 game ahead of everyone else.

You barely gave him enough outing. If I remember correctly, he had the best start from all of the Marlins starter. You people only say he stink because his last outing was at pittsburg where everyone fail. Herge being himself as usual, Willis evil clone, cocky Olsen doesn't listion to the catcher, Moehler :plain , the guy we use to hate Messenger, Kensing our fail prospect during that time with the others long list of fail prospect pitchers, Nolasco with his good 4 innings and then turn to crap, etc...

I think Royals bullpen is worst then ours when we started judging the fans reaction to our reaction on Messenger giving up a walk off homer, Kensing giving us the walk off hit, Borowski giving up a walk off homer, Wellemeyer just blowing up the game in the 8th, etc.

Tomorow seem like a good day to rest Cabrera if he doesn't hit 4 for 4 today.

I think Wellemeyer is going to become their closer, atliest the 8th inning guy.

I didn't watch last game so I can't give any accurate prediction. But here a prediction on Moehler next game: he'll get a good quality outing in his next game after that tough game that should wake him up saying he can't get lazy on pitches. I bet he has learn that lesson and will apply it for the next 2 outing and then go back to the Moehler we all know. I'm scare, Ramirez is slumping. This might effect the rest of the line up. Well, the top 4 lineup. Cabrera is also having a hard time lately, this might get in the head of Uggla soon and Jacobs is just being hot right now. It a good thing to know Uggla avg is not just because of being hot, because he hjas prove he deserve to be at the low .300 - top .200. If he does get in a slump, it should just be for 3 games only and some of this :banghead for our whole line up. That why I think this game is crucial, to determine if we are visiting April soon.

I guess they pick Herge just to make the game more exciting for the other team with the double, and the clutch, and the HR, etc other then a boring long pitch count walk with no result in the inning.

I still think Cabrera should hit 3rd and Jacobs to hit 4th. That way Cabrera will have a hitter protecting behind him to prevent him from IBB.
