  1. I for one hope this thing doesn't "work itself out". I'd like all the guys who are starting now to continue to do well and have Mitre inserted as our long relief man. I like him but he's not entitled to a rotation spot and the guys who are doing well now have to lose their spots before Mitre gets it back. Herge finally got a second chance and he is pitching well just like the whole worthless starting rotation, we gave them another chance, and the depromotion of Vagas to scare everyone and the fist fight between Olsen and Messenger. Everyone made their comeback on their second chance so why can't Mitre get his? He is young!!!! What do you think the Marlins should do with Dontrelle Willis? I know the Mets, Yankees, Phillies and Red Sox would all love to have him. Should we give him to the Yankees for maybe their top-notch third base prospect, Eric Duncan, or someone else? -- Al C., Chicago I think a top-notch OF is better then a backup 3rd basemen for Cabrera. What are the chances of getting Juan Pierre back? I heard that he is most likely going to be traded. -- Sebastian M., Port St. Lucie, Fla. Why do we need Pierre back? He is in the 30's so it is time to let go. Plus his $4M contract, that be 1/4 of the fish payroll!
  2. What! The Marlins are still playing in MLB level! Why didn't anyone inform me this earlier!!!!
  3. But still, that ATL/TB road trip still sting us as our record is still bad. -Da Expert :cool It was rock bottom. Sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom before you can truly be alive. That was an experience this team needed to have. It hurt... and it stung. But I think that stinging feel is subsiding. The season isn't even half over yet. We've come a long way, but we still have a long way to go. Well it was defiantly more funny then Mayor League
  4. I wonder if the poll result would be different if it was posted 3 weeks ago. :mischief2
  5. So I guess the Marlins are going to become homeless. :lol Wayne! Is that you? Stop with that stuff Wayne or you will get banned from this board! For some reason this post still crack me up. :lol
  6. Good article, it going to take awhile for this team to cool off and right now they are not showing any sign of cooling off. In fact, they are playing even better undefeated in their last 8 games. But still, that ATL/TB road trip still sting us as our record is still bad. -Da Expert :cool
  7. The Astros didn't reach the 90's win mark though.
  8. 15-5 is more realistic though.
  9. Your slackin'... we got some new call ups... Did we broke a record yet? :mischief2
  10. This is probably the 5th topic about this in the past few days--one of which is still on the 1st page of this forum. don't hate. he's the originator of this HOF-worthy topic. we're 18-6 since then. What! Like my 1000 post = win didn't do anythinmg! I say it was my old thread that brtought this team from that hidden cave inside my grandma basement!
  11. There you are bump. Hopefully I didn't curse it.
  12. Still, the fish are going have to pay their electric bills for now on, I don't think Loria knows anything about that.
  13. I got a question. If a player is slumping, according to some people the manager should not bench him, instead he should let the player figure out his own problem. According to another group, when a player is on fire, you shouldn't bench him so he can continue his hot streak. So my question is simple: what kind of bizare condition must be met so benching your starting players be appropiate? A more important question is, which of this dumb group have no idea what he talking about when it come to baseball? :confused
  14. He is going to have to go 7 strong innings then. And do it quick before something happen to your ERA too.
  15. A certain amount of innings pitch per teams games played. I think its 1.1 x total games team played = min IP requirement
  16. Here a funny note, Phillies, Nationals, and Braves are in a 5 games losing streak while the Marlins are in a 6 games winning streak. THAT SHOULD REALLY HELP!!!! :o Mets lost today for a little cherry on top.
  17. The Marlins have been on a tear but the offence has not. S lot of the team success has been masked by the outstanding pitching but I am worried about the offence. Ramirez is not reaching base and after Ross, we have pre-out like players. You think hannly can turn it around? Oh boy here comes Mr. Negativity :banghead That suppose to be my job! :banghead
  18. Don't worry guys, I'll make a comeback. Troll predict Fish win tomorow!
  19. He look like a dependable pitcher against the Fish. Hanley needs to come back to earth, Uggla and some other guy can't do everything by theirself.
  20. What his avg right now?
  21. Oh and werent you the person who said one of the Braves/Marlins games was going to be a blow out. . He did predicted a sweep before it happen. And he did said it was going to be a "blown game", not blow out. :whistle
  22. ESPN is a big NYY commencial. Yankees own them with that huge supporting payroll. W/e Yankees says goes. Us beating the Yankees has made a lot of people in the office mad and hope that no one knows we exist so we have to get rid of the Marlins from MLB.
  23. We just pass another pair. The Cubs .400 and the Devil Rays .403 with the fish .413! :hat Now chasing Nationals .441 and O's .441. Braves .448 should be our main goal!
  24. I've seen plenty of 06 Royals vs 68 Met comparisen.
