Good D-Train article
It is pointless to trade for prospect if D-Train and Cabrera are very young. With a 15M payroll, don't you think that is low enough????

Lots of Poll, Start Filling Out!!!!
I'm shock too. Lee and Pujols is out for a long time. We can't make it easier for Cabrera who is leading the BA early in the season and is stealing bases this year too.

what good is a team physical
Salary bomb to the Mets payroll. I'm a strong believer it was Delgado contract that has destrpy the Marlins profits and I hope the Mets are next in his list.

I mess up the first poll, Cabreara should have .361 not .261. Mod: Fixed the average. Troll Edit: Thanks Mod.

what good is a team physical
Plus we did a lot of trading, so you would expect some trades will back fire for us like how we totally kill the Cubs 2006 season. Pierre not having a good season with the cubs. Oh yeah look at our former 50M contract player that was sent to NYM. Delgado was a bomb to the Mets payroll with nothing to show for. Great way to even the high payroll team with the rest of us. :thumbup

Marlins SWEEP!
I think it was pretty funny 2 weeks after the Marlins won the 2003 worlds series they talk about the Bos/NYY AL championship series more then the Marlins series and the Marlins/Cubs Series was badly ignore. Oh yeah the bonus CD in the 2k6 game that talk about World Series Championship was a big Yankee comercial! They skip the 1997 and 2003 series!

It just bad luck, everyone faces it in each team.

Cabrera at .361!
right...
-
are we the only team without the new batting helmets?
MLB doesn't care about us.

Cabrera at .361!
You do know Matt Treanor got some help from the ump right. Even the Marlins Annoucer disagree on the call. Do you ever have ANYTHING positive to say? And, I wasn't able to see the game, but go Miggy! Nope

Uggla's play shows pronounced gains
I only seem to find a lot of post of underestimating Uggla skills and nothing big like what Herge is famous for. 1/3 of the post of Uggla is not a big player is from DelGOT2Rings. But yeah no uggg Uggla :plain kind of post. I sworn I remember there was more hatred Uggla post in the pass but I guess wth a lot of Marlins stupid errors in the pass and Marlins finding new ways of lossing games in the pass must of gotten in my head. So I admit it wasn't that bad for Uggla back then.

Uggla's play shows pronounced gains
I guess most of us have to apoligiouse for bashing Girardi for putting him on 2nd at bat. I dont recall anyone bashing him for hitting him 2nd. I bashed Girardi for putting Uggla in the 2-hole. I'm not sure if I did it publicly on this board, but I was not in favor of it. Not because I don't like Uggla, but because I feel that the 2-hole is better suited for someone with a bit more speed, like Hanley or Hermida. IMO, Hanley is the PERFECT 2-hole hitter. He is doing so well leading off that I'm not advocating him to be moved, but I think he is the perfect mix of power/speed for the 2-hole. Having a guy in front of Cabs with power, that can steal bases, and that gets on base at a good clip makes Cabs that much more dangerous. Also, the fact that Hermida has more speed than Uggla, is projected to be a walk machine, and is a lefty (giving us a R- L - R one, two three with Hanley, Hermida, and Cabs) makes me think Hermida is a better fit in the 2-hole. I think for the long-term improvement of our team, Uggla is probably not best suited for the two-hole. Ideally, he'd bat 6th or 7th on my "dream lineup." But, if he keeps hitting like he has been, they can pretty much stick him anywhere in the lineup and I'll keep my mouth shut. I found one of your Uggla bashing post. Well it wasn't really bashing but it did made him look bad. DelGOT2Rings Apr 12 2006, 12:43 PM Post #11 "Ugh...no Hermida?!?! Let's hope the young guys who don't always get a chance show us some hustle. I don't mind Reed at the top of the order. At least it prevents us from having 5-8 of Uggla/Aguila/Abercrombie/Reed....man is that scary! " No one seem to know Uggla even exist during that time, no one seem to know any Marlins players name, #, and position at the same time during the beggining of April. I'm starting to find some Uggla bashing post though around April 15-25. I'll post when I get a long list.

Cabrera shedding weight from the miami herald
that kind of scared me when it said that he was having trouble bending down to get a ground ball....can't do that when you're playing at the hot corner  Other teams will laugh that one of our ballplayers can't even bend down without falling. Anyway, anybody know how much inches did Cabrera glove had in spring training?

Looks like Martinez AND Tank are activated...
I'm sure it because Herge got good leadership in the team and a good friend to Girardi.

Transaction rules
Too many strict rules. This mean some teams are scr*w with some players.

Just bew glad they got rid of WaterMelon.

Tank gets the call
How old is German and Tankersley?
-
JJ is he for real?
His ERA for that game was 3.86. Something most of our bullpen don't have.

The worst times are over for 2006 Marlins
Our fielding errors should improve as this players should get use to. Look like we are starting to get a good 3 men rotation but I think we need to dump the whole bullpen as we move too much talent from the bullpen to the starting rotation. C'mon, Martinez, your are our only hope.
