Hanley hurt his leg
Stay classy, guys. The guy was an ass, to the fans and to his teammates. When the organization needed him to make a move, he through a hissy fit. When he left, he couldn't have been happier. To me, he is the epitomy of whats wrong with sports stars today, with feelings of not only entitlement- but also complacency with their contract and a focus on only his individual goals. I do not wish harm upon him, but you better believe I will acknowledge it when it comes. To me, his Hamstring issue may be from his inactivity during his rehab. Who knows if he actually worked out at 90% while rehabbing. I mean, have you ever seen him legitimately go out of his way diving to make a play to 3rd?

Are there still people who doubt this is a 100+ loss team? Any more fantasies of 70+ wins? Yes. Don't. Stop. Believing.

2013 Draft
You'll get drafted in the 98th round. I'd go in the 40th as a favor to a team owner who my dad is good friends with. Then I'll become one of the all time best hitting catchers in MLB history. Also in Baseball can you trade draft picks?I think very, very specific draft picks, yeah. Not sure which ones, though. Only between first and second rounds (supplemental) and second and third rounds (supplemental). New as of last year

4/29 Post Game: The game that wouldn't end
The Marlins are like that poop you take that when you're done, you're not really done and feel like you have more to go but then nothing comes out and you just have to get up and finish and after you dont feel satisfied. Yeah. Fixed.

OTL Meltdown In Miami
just listened to the podcast of the episode. "David Samson, the club president, has said that he's been advising his stepfather, Jeffrey Loria, to sell the Marlins." how has this not been brought up on the board? I can't remember where but it was brought up. Some said he might sell. Others said no way. Samson told Gumbel and Ley that he's advised Loria to sell but he doesn't want to. His reasons for selling are he's done everything he set out to do, enjoy the rest of his life, but he enjoys owning the Marlins. Nothing new.

Isn't the rule that an inning cannot start after 1:59 am? Is it? I'd want to find out now just because. I get go to my commencement tomorrow- I have no issue with being up until 4am to watch the fish. Kinda perfect to me. God I really love my team. I don't care what any of the haters say.

Loria a dictator?
Yeah- it sucks not really giving a shit about grammar when you're in the heat of the moment. In my defense, about 95% of my posts are from my phone. This last one- there's no excuse.

Loria a dictator?
Repost from another thred: April 6, 2013 - 11:31 AM Warning - this may be a bit too radical for some fans of South Florida Baseball!!! Humor? Thinking outside of the diamond, something occurred to me that may be radical enough to actually fix the Miami problem with baseball. I have enjoyed baseball in Miami since the 1950's, watching the original Miami Marlins in their little downtown stadium. Having a new stadium and a major league franchise was hopefully the solution to the woes that we suffer in south Florida baseball, no need to elaborate. Back to my epiphany. Due to my focus on work over the recent months, I have not kept up with the off season maneuvers of the Miami Marlins franchise. It took two games before the work brakes slowed me enough to notice that the Marlins had played and lost both games. Now I needed to wake up and see my team in action. To my surprise, the franchise was again stripped of many key players. Then the radical thinking kicked in. Why not, yes, why not kick the cheap franchise out of the city and invite the Mets franchise to Miami, with an understanding that they buy back our favorite past and present players (Stanton of course). The Marlin franchise cares only about the money - they would sell! Miami is a great place to live. The New York players may find it refreshing to be in sunny south Florida. We have a beautiful, brand new stadium. We have well over 100,000 Mets fans already living here. The rest of us baseball enthusiasts simply want a franchise that is committed to win. Miami Mets rolls off the tongue with ease. We would fill the stadium to capacity every game. Why not force the suicide squeeze in this needed moment. Yes, radical. Yes, crazy. Perhaps the solution to our South Florida Baseball woes. Original Marlin Fan NOT Just musing a bit. PS: Pizza boy should read the content before commenting. Your Username is misspelled and your thinking is retarded. Pizza boy has commented. You've posted the same useless drivel under another username previously. NO TEAM will every swap franchises like that these days, nor should they. Each team is a private corporation with different operating expenses and markets. You should use your brain next time. Sincerely, The Friendly Neighborhood Pr*ck P.S: The Dodgers aren't in Brooklyn. My dead great uncle finally realized that. Maybe you'll too realize your retarded and change the error of your ways.

2013 Fantasy Baseball
This is actually my first year in roto, too. I usually play H2H. It seems pretty easy. Just play your best guys and see what happens. Yeah, seems that way too- the H2H kind of adds the bragging to it though.
